the description of that trouble code its low idle below 400 rpm will set it. but this can be the cause of many things you need to look at freeze frame data  to be able to find the cause of the problem but before you get too involved clean your throttle body and air flow meters  also tell me if this is the only issue with this vehicle does it drive good does it have power etc any detonation pinging sound coming from the motor when you step on the gas  its the condition of your motor oil since this will affect vvt the more info the better  let me know your findings good luck
